Nokia has announced today that Reset Generation, the “game about video games”, is available on its N-Gage platform and can be downloaded by users who own the following handsets: Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N82, Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB.
To play the game you have to choose from one of the ten heroes available, all of which are representative for the history of video games and have different superpowers. The objective of Reset Generation is to “rescue the princess” – you can do that either in the single player mode (where 18 missions are awaiting to be completed), or in an online multi-player mode, with up to other three players. The games that come with Windows are located in the Games folder, the central location for games on your computer.
To open the Games folder, click the Start button Picture of the Start button , and then click Games in the right pane. To open one of the games in the folder, double-click its icon.
Note: Windows games are not installed by default in Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista Enterprise. To install them, click the Start button Picture of the Start button, click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off. The cheaper alternative to the wireless gaming console is named CamSpace, and comes under the form of an executable that can be installed on Windows platforms.
The application boasts with allowing you to play any computer game without abusing the mouse and keyboard, as long as you are also the possessor of a webcam and of the game you want to play. Sounds like a Sci-Fi movie but it is as real as can be and, although it is currently in beta stage and not available to the general public, it is in continuous development - right now, the fifth beta is out.
