You are normally fairly safe from the world of high fashion on this web site but we just couldn’t resist bringing you news of a new fabric, called Intimacy, developed by Studio Roosegaarde’s V2 Lab. Intimacy is used in a range of garments, made from something called Smart Foil, which becomes transparent when fed with a small current. Various ways of using the fabric have been touted, including sensing the wearer’s emotions to control the degree of transparency, or remotely, via a wireless interface, with the wearer able to vary the transparency by moving closer or further away from a transmitter. Scary stuff but we can see a good opportunity for joke shops with Smart Foil trousers and Y-Fronts…
Britney Spears Shooting Video for ‘Radar’
Britney Spears is preparing to take the airwaves by storm again with the release of yet another single. As she’s doing so, she’s also busily shooting for a video for “Radar,” while she’s taking a short break from her ongoing – and highly successful – Circus tour, Radar Online informs.
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton reports he spotted Britney in Los Angeles shooting scenes for the video in an outfit that positively screamed Audrey Hepburn glamour and style. Photos of the star show her in a black and white dress with a huge black ribbon in front, matching oversized hat and black gloves, apparently attending what looks like a fancy garden party – just so that fans can get a vague idea about what the video might be about. Jennifer Aniston Bares All for GQ
Jennifer Aniston continues to show her naughty side by stripping down to just a stripey tie in the January issue of GQ magazine.
The Friends star – whose girl-next-door image took a knock recently with the release of a calendar containing shots from some of her racier photoshoots – is proving that at almost 40-years-old, she’s still got it in spades.
Jennifer famously posed topless for the magazine back in 2005 and three years later, she dares to bare even more.
Jen was left reeling recently when her comments about Angelina Jolie’s “uncool” behaviour were, according to the actress, misrepresented in recent Vogue magazine.

Macaulay Culkin’s Sister Killed by Car
Wednesday, actor Macaulay Culkin’s sister Dakota died after she was struck by a car in Los Angeles one day before.
Dakota Culkin is said to had been stepping out of a curb on Los Angeles’ West Side when the vehicle hit her. She was then taken to the UCLA Medical Center with massive head trauma, where she died of the injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
Police spokesman Richard French has stated that a criminal investigation was not being conducted, adding that the driver had stopped to try and help 29-year-old Dakota. Read more
