Nokia has announced today that Reset Generation, the “game about video games”, is available on its N-Gage platform and can be downloaded by users who own the following handsets: Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N82, Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB.
To play the game you have to choose from one of the ten heroes available, all of which are representative for the history of video games and have different superpowers. The objective of Reset Generation is to “rescue the princess” – you can do that either in the single player mode (where 18 missions are awaiting to be completed), or in an online multi-player mode, with up to other three players. Sony Ericsson W350i

July 18, 2008
The new Sony Ericsson W350i is a mid-level ranged mobile phone that adds to the Walkman series portfolio. As it has been a long time since a famous handset manufacturer launched a flip phone, W350i brings back the Sony Ericsson’s T series feeling. Revamped and improved, W350i’s design has that special retro look that will certainly make it as an ‘eye-catcher’ device. The public targeted is definitely going to love it, while those that are looking for a camera-phone or business-oriented device will probably hate it. In the end, it’s all about personal preferences.
Announced in January 2008, Sony Ericsson W350i was launched on the market in May 2008. The flip phone is available in four different color versions: Graphic white, Ice blue, Electric black and Hypnotic black. Those interested in a good-looking mid-level handset can acquire it for around $230 USD. Read More »
25 Free Applications For Nokia N95

July 14, 2008
I think for now the Nokia N95 has won, as it’s the only way I can get decent access to my gmail account as the IMAP client on the HTC s620 doesn’t support gmail messages containing HTML, and the gmail mobile email app looks absolutely awful on the Windows Mobile device.
Another reason I love my Nokia N95 is the wide range of applications that can be installed. Just feast your eyes on If you’re looking to pimp your Nokia N95 then there are some great applications here: Read More »
How to prevent your playlist in winamp from getting lost out
Posted by Jason on
May 14, 2008
I have been using winamp from a long time as a music player, it is I think the best player which is free also, but initially when I use winamp for the first time I found a issue in it.
Let me tell you how does it happen.
I used to enqueue some songs from different directory locations ,and issue arises when accidentally I double click on any .mp3 file due to which all the playlist which I collected in winamp got evaded in seconds and the only songs which remain there is that on which I have accidentally double clicked. It may have happened to you some time if you have used winamp. Read More »
How One-way Mirrors Work
Posted by Jason on
May 10, 2008
A one-way mirror is basically just like any other mirror, just that it has the ability of reflecting light on one side while on the other, it is transparent. Typical mirrors achieve a high degree of reflectiveness on one side, leaving the reverse opaque to optical light. This is done by covering the glass layer with a silvered coating. One-way mirrors, however, use half silvered surfaces in order to achieve a balance between reflectiveness and transparency, in combination with carefully adjusted amounts of light.
Practically, the silvered coating is only half of that of a typical mirror, meaning that it reflects half of the incoming light, leaving the other half pass right through. The concept is relatively similar to that used in lasers. Inside a laser, photons of light are being bounced between two mirrors, one with 100 percent reflectiveness and the other with 99 percent. Introducing Zune 2.5

Microsoft continues to hammer away at its Zune digital media player and the services built around the device, but the evolution is largely a case of going where Apple has already taken the iPod and iTunes. On May 5, 2008, Microsoft introduced the latest update to Zune, not only adding new features and enhancements to the device itself but also evolving the Zune software, Zune Social and the Zune Marketplace. The focus of the update is to build on top of what the company started with “Zune Social” in November 2007, namely to extend the social networking community created around the device.
“Zune owners are pretty passionate, and they had a lot of great ideas for making the community more valuable to music fans. And I definitely fall into that category myself - the main reason we’re all here is we love the music,” stated Brian Seitz, a Group Marketing Manager for Zune. Zune Social offers users the possibility to interact in terms of music discovery, comments, playlist browsing, with the update bringing to the table additional capabilities including the ability to send messages to friends, explore their music collections and even drag-and-drop Zune Cards. The Right Mixxx
Posted by Jason on
May 2, 2008
I have to say straight away that the last time I did any DJ-ing, record players still had a 78rpm speed setting. I freely admit to being a bit out of touch with current trends, but I’m reliably informed that this free Open Source program, called Mixxx is just the job for all of you hep cats out there who enjoy mixing your tunes and generally fiddling around with musical tracks. Key features, so I’m told, include the ability to read new fangled music formats, like MP3, Ogg Vorbis and Wave (something to do with turntable speed, I suppose…), it can import M3U and PLS playlists, whatever they are, and it has Beat Estimation and Pitch Independent Time Stretch features, which is probably a good thing. Wild Sounds

Here’s a brilliant freeware audio recording and mixing program, called WildVoice Studio. Ostensibly it’s designed for making podcasts, but it’s far too good for such a narrow application. Of course you can use it to record your voice, through a microphone, but it will also record anything you can hear on your PC’s speakers, but here’s the really good bit. It comes with a library of almost 30 sound effects, everything from a fart to sawing wood, and you can mix in your own background sounds or music. Even if you’re not into podcasts this is still a great way to produce audio recordings, alert sounds for your computer, answering machine tapes, or just a easy way to make some silly noises…

Already being dubbed the iProd, you can only wonder at the mind of the genius who thought this one up. Taser, famous for its range of electric shock stun guns has decided to combine one of its latest models with a 1Gb MP3 player, but the icing on the cake has to be the leopard skin cover. According to Taser’s marketing people this combination of gadgets makes sense because the MP3 player means you’re more likely to carry it around with you , so it will be there when you need it… Read More »
